Have a number count on the home page for shifts. Each Month it refreshes and based on how many wednesdays there are that month (4 or 5) that is how many shifts they need. Then as they clock in, there is a counter that shows how many shifts they are actually at. So they are aware and can track on their own too. It resets in January and as the months goes on the number gets higher. So in February they should reach 8 shifts total for the year and then the actual counter would tell them where they are at.
