Problem

Customers using NetGym for payroll reconciliation currently need to pull two separate reports to verify employee hours. The Shift Reporting export provides each individual shift with clock in/out details, while the Team Insights report provides total hours worked. This creates unnecessary manual work during payroll.

Customer Request

Add a Total Hours field or summary to the Shift Reporting report (both in-app and exported CSV) when filtering by an individual employee.

Use Case

Karve uses Shift Reporting to reconcile monthly staff invoices. Their payroll process requires them to:

Verify each shift worked (date, shift, clock in/out).

Confirm the employee's total hours for the pay period.

Currently, they must:

Pull the Shift Reporting report to validate each shift.

Pull a separate Team Insights report to find the employee's total hours.

Having the total hours included directly within the Shift Reporting report would allow managers to reconcile invoices using a single report.

Requested Enhancement

When filtering Shift Reporting by an individual user:

Display a Total Hours Worked summary for the selected date range.

Include the total in the exported CSV (either as a summary row or additional field).

Benefit

Simplifies payroll reconciliation.

Eliminates the need to combine information from multiple reports.

Saves managers time and reduces the risk of manual calculation errors.
