I'm officially totally lost on the daily, lol. I can't handle all the immediate notifications in my inbox... there's SO many, so I turned them off.
The issue here is that even if emails and push are on, things are getting buried.
Push notifications are nice, but they don't always go off I don't think? And when I open them, they just open the app and don't go to the specific notification I click and sometimes that's impossible to sort out.
If I click into messages, sure, there's a red dot count on the chat, but you have to click into each individual post/msg type to see other red dots.
I'm constantly missing things like comments and then somehow randomly finding them days later. 😅
Something like a Facebook activity bell at the top would be a MASSIVE help. Then I can see each action anyone took, click it and navigate to it. On other softwares you also see it grey out once you click it, sort of like a mental checklist like, "okay I handled that notification."
LOVE all the capabilities here but, now that we're all in FULL SWING using this software to the fullest, I think we're all feeling this.
If a notification section is too hard to code or add for awhile, if it's easier, I would also settle for more red dots with the number of notifications there so I am visually able to see at a glance what i need to check on without clicking into every single section. 😉

Hey there! Would there be any way of getting a 'Notification' tab for sub requests. Where it would list any time you get tagged in a request and then you could click on the specific tag and take you to the request. A bit like on Instagram when someone tags you in a comment and you can click the loveheart and it takes you to a list of Notifications. Many thanks!

hi Bridget! Totally hear you on ALL of these points! a few things in the works to address these pain points:
- daily summary for managers is rolling out in the next week! this should cut down on sub notis altogether and give you a once daily snapshot of whats going on
- we'll be adding a "notification center" similar to most other inbox/feeds you're used to :) we'll be in touch for feedback on this later this year!
- we're separating out posts/chat into their own entities and will improve the UX around these + their badges
- a home page!!!! is coming soon with at-a-glance insight into:

- Requests Needing Attention
- Uncovered shifts
- Time Off Submissions
- Upcoming approved leaves
- Recent, Outstanding, and Pinned Posts
- Unread Messages
- Upcoming Shifts & Classes
