Subbing

In our sub settings, we allow instructors to choose the locations they receive sub requests for. If they make a change/add a new location, they don't have the ability to receive the past sub requests- rather they have to ask a manger/account owner to manually do that for them. Would love a way for the instructors to toggle that themselves!

Auto approve for the primary skill but ask for manager approval for the secondary skill.

Olivia requested the ability to customize the urgency/timing of sub request notifications - she would like a 72-hour notification instead of just 24 hours. Within account info, sub settings, would be great to have a Urgency Time Period setting. This would influence when all of our "24 hour notifications get sent" and instead be whatever the urgent time frame is that they selected.

We would love for documentation to play into sub approvals. For example, if someone has expired documentation, we do not want them to be able to be approved for a sub request. If it is expired, they'll get a warning for the first 30 days and if it is more than 30 days expired, they would be able to receive a sub request, but the ability to "accept" would be greyed out and if they hovered over, it would say "You have expired documentation, please reach out to your manager" or something along those lines.

Flag instructors who exceed a defined sub request percentage (e.g., 15%), giving managers an early warning—without blocking emergency requests. This would need to account for how many total classes the instructor is planned to teach per month for example. If an instructor teaches 20 classes per month and managers would want to be alerted once that instructor has planned to sub out 20% of classes, once they have submitted more than 4 sub requests, managers can be alerted by a flag or a notification. This would allow them to take a look and see if that person is going on vacation, has a planned medical procedure, etc. so that they can plan ahead.

Ability to rank/tier instructors so sub requests can go to a certain subset of instructors before opening up to all eligible. Basically preferred teachers for a 5-7pm peak time.

Would love the ability to designate specific skills for one particular manager to be able to approve. Ex) Cycle subs get managed by the Cycle managers, Pilates and Yoga would go to someone separate within that manager approval setting.

Would love to be able to set parameters around how many sub requests instructors are sending per month and be flagged as a management team if they hit a certain threshold/percentage. This would help us to build new permanent schedules or know where to place people in time slots that work better for them

Allow the ability to not have the list of people who will be invited to the sub request show up in the second and third step of creating a sub request. Only allow managers to see this list and not instructors

Use Case: Hi! We've recently added pilates to our studio and only have 2 teachers. We discovered that teachers cannot create a sub request in NetGym if no one with that skill set is available at that time. I understand the logic, but this has lead to emails/texts/communication outside of the NetGym system that's hard to keep track of. It's challenging for the manager and me as the owner to know that that class needs coverage because the teacher cannot create the request. We'd switch to another type of class if needed but we can't even see that the class needs coverage. As a work around, I just added Pilates as a skill for myself. Because of this, we just had a teacher no-show when she thought she swapped with the other teacher (and us as management and the other teacher had no idea)' pass this along for me Feature Request: Send a notification to the management, about instructor is trying to create sub request, but no instructors pulling up because of missing skill.
